For several years Rompetrol Georgia has been taking care of creating a festive mood for disabled children living at the Kojori Disabled Children's House. This year, the beneficiaries were transferred to two towns, Telavi and Chkhorotsku. Company representatives visited both locations and, traditionally, made the children of the orphanage houses happy with the New Year's presents.
Within the corporate social responsibility, Rompetrol has been transferring the funds of the Business Partners' New Year Gifts to the social project, to the support of the Children's House for several years. In this kind deed, the companions of the company are its business partner organizations. Initially, company started helping the beneficiary children of the Kojori Disabled Children's House on the initiative of one of the employees 6 years ago. Gradually, more and more employees joined this charitable activity, and for the last three years the company has taken upon itself the continuation of this tradition and tries to create a festive New Year mood and joy to kids every year.
“These children are already our near and dear ones, and we look forward to meeting them every year. We are glad that we are the initiators of this deed and we consider our partners to be our companions in this meaningful goodwill. Entertainment activities were also planned the way we did during pre-pandemic period, but due to the Covid-19 regulations, we limited ourselves to small events this year also. What is most important, we managed to create a festive New Year's mood for the kids and bring joy to their little hearts” - the company noted.
